1. WHO ARE THE WATER COOLERS?
Think Seinfeld set to music. THE WATER COOLERS is a New York-based comedy group that uses Broadway talent to deliver hilarious songs and sketch comedy about corporate work, life, and everything in between. The act was created specifically for the meetings industry although they’ve since found an audience and gained critical acclaim in the mainstream entertainment world. They’re constantly refreshing their material.

2. DO YOU CUSTOMIZE THE SHOW?

The short answer is yes and depending on the amount of customization required for a meeting or a corporate event we may charge for it -- of course we provide the price up front. For the longer answer, click here.

3. CAN I TRUST YOU TO BE APPROPRIATE?
Absolutely. THE WATER COOLERS’ comedy is never inappropriate. Our producer is a former meeting planner who once actually had a comic mock her association’s president at the annual meeting. She and our writers work with you to understand the organization’s culture so the comedy is funny without ever crossing the line.

4. IS THERE A LOT INVOLVED IN BRINGING IN AN ACT THIS SIZE?
THE WATER COOLERS make it easy. We’ve done hundreds of corporate event shows in almost every imaginable setting. Our dates are professionally managed by NYC stage and company managers. We feel that bringing in a musical or corporate comedy act should be as easy as bringing in a speaker. Our production stage manager will work directly with your tech contact to arrange for all details and keep you in the loop every step of the way.

5. HOW MANY PEOPLE TRAVEL?
Seven: 5 performers, a pianist and a technician.

6. WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS?
Very standard. For each person traveling, we require a coach airfare, a hotel room and $50 per day per diem to cover meals and incidentals.

7. DO YOU HAVE HEAVY TECH REQUIREMENTS?
No. Our tech requirements are actually quite minimal for a musical act. But, if you have any concerns, we’ll send you our complete Tech Specifications so you can forward it to your venue to get a cost estimate or you can download the media kit (below) for a copy.
